The name Bowerbird came about when Katherine watched a PBS story hosted by David Attenboro about the bowerbird.
Native of New Gunea and Australia, the male bowerbird thoughtfully constructs his bower (a twig structure built on the ground) and carefully decorates it to attract his mate.
Fascinated at the bowerbird's commitment and instinctive design skills, it was a fitting to name the shop after this amazing bird.
And so, like the bowerbird we decorate our bowers.
